The Corrections Planning and Programs Mission Statement
The mission of the CPP Division is to promote effective criminal and juvenile justice programming by ensuring the fair, prudent, and efficient distribution of state and federal funds; encouraging the use of evidence-based practices for preventing and reducing crime; engaging in collaborative planning, ongoing research and information-sharing; and providing training and other technical assistance to facilitate grant compliance and help our state and local partners achieve desired outcomes.
