The Correctional Peace Officer Apprenticeship Program is made up of several partners.  The apprenticeship program is administered by a committee of management representatives who are responsible for setting apprenticeship policy.  The Apprenticeship Committee meets quarterly or as needed.  It is established as a subcommittee of the Corrections Standards Authority which is statutorily responsible for the apprenticeship program.  The Office of Training and Professional Development is responsible for the daily operational activities of the program.  The In Service Training office or Training Coordinator is responsible for implementing the apprenticeship program in the field.  Working together, these partners ensure that the apprenticeship program meets the training needs of correctional peace officer apprentices.
