Parole Agents earn up to $7,437 per month and receive a peace officer retirement package (3 percent @ age 50) through the California Public Employee Retirement System (CALPERS).

Typical Duties of Parole Agent I, Adult Parole:
- Peace Officers who carry a caseload involving field and office work
- Supervise, assess, and guide adult parolees released from State Correctional Institutions
- Increase public safety and assist in rehabilitation of parolees
- Statewide Employment Opportunities
Salary: $5,033 - $7,437/mo.
Qualifying Candidates Must:
- Provide a Completed Standard State Application (STD. 678)
- Provide Copies of College Transcripts or a Copy of College Diploma
- Provide a Picture ID
- Possess a 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree (or a 2 Year Degree with Additional Qualifying Experience*)
- Be at Least 21 Years Old
- Pass a Background Check
*Up to two years of experience may be substituted for education. Please see job description for details.
