FACILITY CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
The Corrections Standards Authority (CSA), formerly known as the Board of Corrections (BOC), administers grants for the construction of local adult and juvenile detention facilities. The federal Violent Offender Incarceration and Truth-in-Sentencing (VOI/TIS) program funds adult and juvenile facility projects that add beds and related support space. The State General Fund supports juvenile facility construction, renovation and deferred maintenance projects.
