Enhanced DMC-Technical Assistance Project Process Evaluation Request for Proposal
Due to the severe firestorms impacting many Southern California counties, CSA has made a decision to extend the due date for Process Evaluation proposals to November 16, 2007. This will give all applicants an extra week to complete and submit their proposals. Thank you all in advance for your cooperation and understanding during this time of unprecedented circumstances and please forward this announcement on to others who may find it of interest.

DMC Technical Assistance Project 05-06
In June 2005, the CSA awarded a grant to the National Council on Crime and Delinquencyto serve as an expert consultant for the DMC Technical Assistance Project. Contra Costa, Alameda and Ventura counties participated in this new project and received technical assistance from the expert consultant related to DMC education, stakeholder collaboration, organizational analysis, data collection, and action plan development, implementation, and evaluation. These three pilot counties did a tremendous job through their collaborative work with the NCCD in developing a DMC initiative in their communities and anticipate maintaining the momentum as they move forward in DMC reduction efforts. The findings from the DMC Technical Assistance Project captured in this final report have helped guide CSA's exciting new approach to addressing DMC through the incremental approach of the Enhanced DMC-TAP grant.
