John Ingrassia

John Ingrassia of San Diego was appointed as a member of the Corrections Standards Authority in September of 2006. He has served his entire 17 year career with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department working corrections related assignments. Since 2003, Ingrassia has served as the Facility Commander of the largest of his department's seven detention facilities.

Ingrassia has been a resident of San Diego County since 1975. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University and Master of Arts from the University of Redlands.
