The Southern Youth Correctional Reception Center and Clinic (SYCRCC) located in Norwalk, in Los Angeles County, is a reception center-clinic and program facility which houses and provides diagnostic services for male youths.  This facility is comprised of living units with single rooms.

Jack B. Clarke High School provides educational assessments and instruction in basic skills to youths at SYCRCC. Special education services are available as are courses in basic education and high school work.

The SYCRCC receives youths committed from southern California counties. While youths are in the reception center-clinic process, they receive a variety of assessments to determine their individual needs and to develop appropriate treatment plans.

In addition to the reception center-clinic, this facility also has an intensive treatment program, a sex offender treatment program, a public service program, and an intermediate care facility for youths requiring this level of mental health intervention.
