The O.H. Close Youth Correctional Facility located in Stockton, in San Joaquin County, houses male youths under the age of 18 in dormitory-style living units.

Joanna Boss High School provides instruction in basic skills, employability, and high school courses.  A computer lab is available to supplement all high school programs. Independent study and special education services are also available.

This facility houses a sex offender treatment program and a residential substance abuse treatment program.  In addition, the Foster Grandparent Program provides mentoring and tutoring services.
