DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS PLANS HOLIDAY GIVING TO THOSE IN NEED
Every holiday season, correctional staff and inmates from prisons throughout California donate gifts to the needy in their local communities. Following is a summary of some of those events in the Bakersfield region:

Santa Claus and the Warden from the California Medical Facility in Vacaville will deliver gifts donated by staff and inmates to the senior citizens adopted by the institution for the holidays.
