Mission
The Office of Court Compliance is a division within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and is dedicated to the facilitation, management and compliance of various class-action lawsuits within the State of California.
Vision
As a newly developed division within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, the Office of Court Compliance will greatly improve compliance standards within California institutions.
Goals
- Compliance – Remedy violations and develop strategies to proactively preclude lawsuits.
- Communication – Effectively communicate with interdepartmental divisions and outside entities that involve class action lawsuits.
- Education and Training – Properly educate and train staff regarding the various class action lawsuits.
