Office of Program
Accountability and Support (OPAS)

As part of CDCR's Division of Rehabilitative Programs, the Office of Program Accountability and Support (OPAS) consists of the several units focused on providing support and outreach to all of DRP.

The units within Office of Program Accountability and Support are:

  • Fiscal Services, Acquisitions and Invoice Unit – provides fiduciary (budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, expense control and accounts payable) duties and services in support of DRP headquarters and field staff.

  • Performance Evaluation, Data and Fidelity (PEDF) Unit – provides statistical data and fidelity functions to support Office of Offender Services, Office of Correctional Education and Office of Program Accountability and Support.

  • Personnel and Business Services Unit – provides customer service support for general supplies, equipment, building maintenance, and personnel-related needs to all DRP headquarters staff within Office of Offender Services, Office of Correctional Education and Office of Program Accountability and Support.

  • Resource Development & Outreach (RD&O) Unit – researches, develops and implements a broad variety of resources and communications for internal and external stakeholders. Concurrently, RD&O provides rehabilitative skills program training and information to DRP staff and correctional staff statewide.
