1.\n Plan the work of Carpenter I\/II and\ninmates engaged in the construction, maintenance, alteration and repair of\nvarious buildings, structures, and fixtures (e.g., cabinets, cove base, road\nconstruction, etc.) in order to ensure proper completion of work, utilizing the\nwork order system and various resources (e.g., job specifications, blueprints,\nStatewide Automated Preventative Maintenance System [SAPMS], California Code of\nRegulations [CCR], institutional operational procedures, personal experience,\ncarpentry knowledge), on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.\n Advise the supervisor in the selection\nand procurement of construction materials, tools and equipment to ensure\ncompliance with various laws, rules, regulations, codes, policies, procedures,\netc., utilizing various resources (e.g., catalogs, vendors, project drawings\nand specifications, internet, budget requirements) on an on-going basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
