projection, as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11.&nbsp; Direct the preparation of the budget for\nprocurement of all vehicle equipment units to ensure timeliness and funds\navailable using a five year projection, as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12.\n&nbsp;Direct the preparation of the budget for\nreplacement of all vehicle equipment units to ensure timeliness and funds\navailable using a five year projection, as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>13.\n&nbsp;Direct preparation of specifications for\nthe purchase of construction vehicles\/equipment or other mobile equipment to\nensure timeliness and availability of funds using a five year projection, as\nneeded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>14.\n&nbsp;Direct preparation of manuals of\ninstruction for equipment operation, facility safety and safe work practices to\nallow for the training of all operators using equipment specific course\ncurriculum, as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>15.\n&nbsp;Direct and approve preparation of\nspecifications for equipment maintenance facilities to ensure a safe work\nenvironment for all employees using Safety Data Sheets and approved Personal\nProtective Equipment, as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>16.\n&nbsp;Direct investigations concerning misuse\nof State vehicles and citizens&#8217; complaints to comply with Fleet and\nDepartmental guidelines using established policies and procedures, as required.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>17.\n&nbsp;Conduct shop inspections to ensure\ncompliance (e.g, Hazardous Materials Storage, Storm Water Pollution Prevention\nPlan, database, repair orders, maintenance, safety, etc.) using established\npolicies\/procedures, as required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>18.\n&nbsp;Conduct equipment inspections to ensure\npreventative maintenance and repairs were completed per manufacturer\u2019s\nrecommendations using established policies and procedures, as required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>19.\n&nbsp;Serve as the department&#8217;s representative\nin regional transactions for equipment and facility sharing, based on regional\nworkload using established policies\/procedures, as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>20.\n&nbsp;<strong>Analyze\nneeds for vehicle\/equipment repair to ensure preventative maintenance is being\nimplemented using mileage logs\/hour meters, as needed.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>21.\n&nbsp;<strong>Train\nstaff on the use and maintenance of vehicles\/equipment
