date, controlling\ndischarge date, and discharge review date utilizing policies, statutes and case\nlaws, etc., in accordance with Governmental rules and regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.\n&nbsp;Review inmate\/parolee criminal\nidentification history file\/rap sheet and fingerprint cards to properly record\ndata utilizing California Law Enforcement Tracking System (CLETS), Electronic\nRecords Management System (ERMS), etc., in accordance with Governmental rules\nand regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.\n&nbsp;Analyze inmate\/parolee criminal\nidentification history file\/rap sheet and fingerprint cards to properly record\ndata utilizing CLETS, ERMS, etc., in accordance with Governmental rules and\nregulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.\n&nbsp;Analyze inmate\/parolee legal documents\nto ensure the accuracy of inmates\/parolees sentence (i.e., judicial and\nclerical) utilizing Abstracts of Judgment (AOJ), Minute Orders, sentencing\ntranscripts, etc., in accordance with Governmental rules and regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.\n&nbsp;Determine proper conduct credit\neligibility regarding prison commitment decisions to determine pre and\npost-sentence credits earned utilizing statutes, case laws, Strategic Offender\nManagement System (SOMS), ERMS, etc., in accordance with Governmental rules and\nregulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6.\n&nbsp;Review credit eligibility regarding\nprison commitment and\/or BPH decisions to ensure accuracy during various audits\nutilizing statutes, case laws, SOMS, ERMS, etc., in accordance with\nGovernmental rules and regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.\n&nbsp;Check legal mandates prior to the\nrelease\/discharge of inmate\/parolee to ensure accuracy utilizing documents,\nSOMS, ERMS, etc., in accordance with Governmental rules and regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8.\n&nbsp;Calculate release\/discharge dates\nregarding inmate\/parolee prison\/jail commitment and\/or BPH decisions to ensure\naccuracy of release\/discharge dates utilizing calculation worksheets,\ncalculators, SOMS, ERMS, Parole Violator Data Tracking System (PVDTS), etc., in\naccordance with Governmental rules and regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9.\n&nbsp;Review data to determine life term dates\nutilizing statutes, laws, BPH decisions, Boards Information Technology System\n(BITS), etc., in accordance with Governmental rules and regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10.\n&nbsp;Review system data, reports, and legal\ndocuments to record accurate information utilizing various forms, SOMS and\nERMS, in accordance with Governmental rules and regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11.\n&nbsp;Provide case record information to\nnotify CDCR personnel, various governmental agencies, and other entities\nutilizing forms, data, legal documents, etc., in accordance with Governmental\nrules and regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12.\n&nbsp;Certify copies of Penal Code (PC) 969(B)\npackets generated from SOMS and ERMS for possible sentencing utilizing AOJ,\nMinute Orders, fingerprint cards, etc., in accordance with Governmental rules\nand regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>13.\n&nbsp;Review individual case actions to meet\ncourt orders for revocations and Parolee-At-Large (PAL) utilizing PVDTS, SOMS,\nand ERMS, in accordance with Governmental rules and regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>14.\n&nbsp;Implement BPH\/Parole Unit\/court actions\nto determine\/recalculate release and\/or discharge dates utilizing mathematical\ncalculations, Title 15, and PVDTS, in accordance with Governmental rules and\nregulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>15.\n&nbsp;Serve as a liaison between CDCR\npersonnel and\/or various agencies to provide information related to sentencing\nand parole laws utilizing communication skills, correspondence, memorandums,\netc., in accordance with Governmental rules and regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>16.\n&nbsp;Represent CDCR as a case record Subject\nMatter Expert (SME) to provide case records information before the Grand Jury,\nState and Federal courts, etc., utilizing SOMS, ERMS, and communication skills,\nin accordance with Governmental rules and regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>17.\n&nbsp;Respond to inmate\/parolee appeals and\ninmate\/parolee requests for interview regarding case records issues utilizing\nInmate or Parolee Request for Interview, Item or Service (CDCR Form 22), Inmate\nParolee Appeal (CDCR Form 602), and Request For Discharge Review Date \/\nControlling Discharge Date Documentation (CDCR 2202), in accordance with\nGovernmental rules and regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>18.\n&nbsp;Update inmate credit received\/loss\nprogram history to produce a release date utilizing SOMS, modification orders,\nand classification actions, in accordance with Governmental rules and\nregulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>19.\n&nbsp;Act as a lead person to other case\nrecords staff to provide guidance utilizing expertise, communication skills,\npolicies and procedures, etc., in accordance with Governmental rules and\nregulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>20.\n&nbsp;Provide relevant information for\ninmate\/parolee data to inform government agencies\/community programs (i.e.,\nhousing, controlling discharge date, release date, etc.) utilizing SOMS, ERMS\nand PVDTS, in accordance with Governmental rules and regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>21.\n&nbsp;<strong>Identify\nsentencing errors to meet sentencing laws utilizing legal documents, Penal\nCode, statutes, case law, etc., in accordance with Governmental rules and\nregulations.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>22.\n&nbsp;<strong>Refer\nsentencing errors to the Legal Processing Unit (LPU) and\/or appropriate\nauthority for resolution and clarification utilizing pre-release, 10-day, etc.), in accordance with\nGovernmental rules and regulations.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>30.\n&nbsp;<strong>Review\nin-custody disciplinary actions to verify division and apply appropriate credit\nloss utilizing Rules Violation Report (RVR), SOMS, ERMS, Department Operations\nManual (DOM), etc., in accordance with Governmental rules and regulations.<\/strong>
