Case Records staff to\nmaintain compliance with all hearings under the Board of Parole Hearings (BPH)\njurisdiction (e.g., Non Violent Parole Process [NVPP], Elderly Parole, Youth\nOffender, etc.) by reviewing necessary documents (retain\/discharge, BPH\ndecisions, and transcripts, etc.) using Boards Information Technology System\n(BITS), Strategic Offender Management System (SOMS), Electronic to maintain the operational needs of the office using effective\nmanagement skills\/tools (e.g., communication, time management, workload\nmonitoring) as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11.\n&nbsp;Maintain System (PVDTS),\nSOMS\/ERMS, and available resource material [e.g., Federal\/State Law, California\nCode of Regulations (CCR) Title 15, Instructional\/Informational Memos, etc.) as\nneeded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>15.\n&nbsp;Perform quality control of case record\ninformation related to inmate sentences, parole procedures, audits and\ncalculations to ensure the appropriate and accurate application of credit\nearning status, analysis of legal documents, etc., using SOMS\/ERMS,\nFederal\/State law, CDCR policies\/procedures, etc. on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>16.\n&nbsp;Monitor CCRA\u2019s workload for accuracy\nrelated to SOMS application of credits (e.g., enhanced program credits, credit\nforfeitures and\/or restorations, etc.) pertaining to the calculation of release\ndates for inmates\/parolees using Federal\/State law, policies\/procedures,\nsupervisory review and on the job training, as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>17.\n&nbsp;Audit\/review court case sentencing\ndocuments for accuracy and legal standing using Abstract of Judgment (AOJ),\nMinute Orders (MO), court transcripts, and recent state legislation, etc. to\nensure the inmate is properly placed and credit earning status is correct for\nevery new inmate case record, as received. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>18.\n&nbsp;Compute accurate release dates,\ndischarge review dates, and controlling discharge dates to prevent erroneous\ninmate\/parolee releases\/discharges and litigation using the Release Date\nCalculation (RD Calc) program pursuant to CDCR policies\/procedures, etc. on a\ndaily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>19.\n&nbsp;Oversee inmate\/parolee electronic file\naudits completed by CCRAs to ensure proper interpretation and application of\nwritten and verbal directives using source
