systems, etc. to ensure public health and safety utilizing the\nproper tools, equipment, all applicable Local, State, and Federal laws, rules,\nregulations, and codes, and supervisory skills, etc. on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.\n&nbsp;Manage staff engaged in the\ncorrective\/preventive maintenance and repair of the physical Plant\u2019s water\ntreatment for potable water systems and waste water treatment plant to meet\npublic health standards utilizing the proper tools, equipment, all applicable\nLocal, State, and Federal laws, rules, regulations, and codes, and supervisory\nskills, etc. on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.\n&nbsp;Manage staff engaged in the\ncorrective\/preventive maintenance and repair of the physical Plant\u2019s plumbing\nand domestic water distribution systems to ensure public health standards\nutilizing the proper tools, equipment, all applicable Local, State, and Federal\nlaws, rules, regulations, and codes, and supervisory skills, etc. on a daily\nbasis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.\n&nbsp;Manage staff engaged in the corrective\nmaintenance and repair of the physical Plant\u2019s telecommunications systems and\nequipment to ensure public safety utilizing the proper tools, equipment, all\napplicable Local, State, and Federal laws, rules, regulations, and codes, and\nsupervisory skills, etc. on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.\n&nbsp;Manage staff engaged in the physical\nPlant\u2019s hazardous substance abatement program to ensure public health utilizing\nthe proper tools, equipment, all applicable Local, State, and Federal laws,\nrules, regulations, and codes, and supervisory skills, etc. on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6.\n&nbsp;Manage staff engaged in the\ncorrective\/preventive maintenance and repair of the physical Plant\u2019s heating\nand air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration systems and auxiliary\nequipment, including high\/low pressure steam boilers, gas and oil furnaces,\npumps, compressors, condensers, chillers and steam distribution systems to\nensure efficient operation utilizing the proper tools, equipment, all\napplicable Local, State, and Federal laws, rules, regulations, and codes, and\nsupervisory skills, etc. on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.\n&nbsp;Manage staff engaged in the\ncorrective\/preventive maintenance and repair of the physical Plant\u2019s fire\nprotection systems to ensure compliance utilizing the proper tools, equipment,\nall applicable Local, State, and Federal laws, rules, regulations, and codes,\nand supervisory skills, etc. on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8.\n&nbsp;Manage staff engaged in the\ncorrective\/preventive maintenance and repair of the physical Plant\u2019s\nkitchen\/dining equipment to ensure public health utilizing the proper tools,\nequipment, all applicable Local, State, and Federal laws, rules, regulations,\nand codes, and supervisory skills, etc. on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9.\n&nbsp;Manage staff engaged in the\ncorrective\/preventive maintenance and repair of the physical Plant\u2019s\nstructures\/gates\/roof tops\/doors and other associated equipment to ensure\npublic safety utilizing the proper tools, equipment, all applicable Local,\nState, and Federal laws, rules, regulations, supervisory skills, etc. on a\ndaily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10.\n&nbsp;Manage staff engaged in the\ncorrective\/preventive maintenance and repair of the physical Plant\u2019s grounds\n(landscaping\/irrigation systems) to ensure public safety utilizing the proper\ntools, equipment, all applicable Local, State, and Federal laws, rules,\nregulations, supervisory skills, etc. on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11.\n&nbsp;Manage staff engaged in the\ncorrective\/preventive maintenance and repair of the physical Plant\u2019s vehicles\n(electrical\/gas\/diesel\/alternate fuel) and fuel storage\/supply to ensure public\nhealth and safety utilizing the proper tools, equipment, all applicable Local,\nState, and Federal laws, rules, regulations, supervisory skills, etc. on a\ndaily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12.\n&nbsp;Manage staff engaged in materials\nmanagement to ensure that materials are received and available for repair and\nmaintenance utilizing the proper tools, equipment, all applicable Local, State,\nand Federal laws, rules, regulations, supervisory skills, etc. on a daily\nbasis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>13.\n&nbsp;Manage staff engaged in the\ncorrective\/preventive maintenance and repair of the physical Plant\u2019s laundry\nand associated equipment to ensure public health utilizing the proper tools,\nequipment, all applicable Local, State, and Federal laws, rules, regulations,\nsupervisory skills, etc. on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>14.\n&nbsp;Facilitate meetings between California\nDepartment of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) and outside contractors\nincluding Inmate Ward Labor and various governmental agencies to provide\ninformation utilizing effective interpersonal communication skills and\nprofessional\/personal knowledge, etc. as required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>15.\n&nbsp;Facilitate construction and repair\nin-house projects to minimize disruption to institutional programs and ensure\ncompliance utilizing policies and procedures, professional\/personal knowledge,\netc. as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>16.\n&nbsp;Oversee staff in the maintenance of bid\npackages blueprints, equipment specifications, operational maintenance manuals,\nand other records of the physical Plant to ensure accurate information\nutilizing various manuals and tools, equipment, supervisory skills, etc. as\nneeded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>17.\n&nbsp;Oversee staff in the maintenance of the\nbid packages and other records of the physical Plant\u2019s work completed to ensure\naccurate information utilizing equipment, aids, supervisory skills, etc. as\nneeded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>18.\n&nbsp;Respond in writing, to reports and\/or\nnotices of correction from control agency representatives (e.g., Office of\nState Architect, CAL-OSHA, Dept. of Public Health, etc.) to maintain a safe and\nsecure environment utilizing the proper resources, laws, rules, regulations,\netc. as required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>19.\n&nbsp;Direct staff in the preparation of the Institution\u2019s\nCapital Outlay Budget Change Proposals by developing the Five-Year Plan\nincluding the Major and Minor Capital Outlay, Special Repair, Section 6.0\nrequest, etc. to obtain approval\/secure funding utilizing court mandates,\nsupervisory skills, professional\/personal knowledge, etc. as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>20.\n&nbsp;Oversee the reoccurring budget to\nprovide the necessary services utilizing laws, rules, regulations, supervisory\nskills, and professional\/personal knowledge on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>21.&nbsp; Inspect the maintenance, repairs, and\nalteration of buildings, structures, roads, roofs, and other related\ninfrastructure to ensure they are being maintained and repaired utilizing laws,\nrules, regulations, etc. as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>22.\n&nbsp;Act as the Administrative Officer of the\nDay (AOD) for the institution to ensure the continuous safety and all\nDepartmental policies and procedures to produce a safe and secure environment\nutilizing effective interpersonal communication skills, supervisory skills,\nlaws, rules, and regulations on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>32.\n&nbsp;Ensure that no inmate performs\npreventative\/corrective maintenance on any security system to maintain safety\nand security within the institution utilizing laws, rules, and regulations,\nprofessional\/personal knowledge, etc. on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>33.\n&nbsp;Evaluate the performance of Plant\nOperation staff to comply with employment departmental policies utilizing\neffective supervisory skills, government code and State Administrative Manual\n(SAM), Department Operations Manual (DOM), etc. on an as needed basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>34.\n&nbsp;Prepare staff Individual Development\nPlan and Report of Performance for Probationary Employees to assess or correct\nemployee performance utilizing Departmental policies
