LISTING<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>NOTE:\nEach position within this classification may perform some or all of these\ntasks.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><strong>T<\/strong><\/em><strong><em>ask Statements:<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>1.\n&nbsp;Prepare purchase requests to ensure\nstock levels are adequate to meet the needs of the department using Business\nInformation System (BIS) and other inventory tracking tools as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.\n&nbsp;Prepare materials\/stock for\ndelivery\/pick-up utilizing requisitions, material handling equipment, delivery\npractices, etc., on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.\n&nbsp;Complete goods receipt to document the\nappropriate delivery and condition of materials\/stock using various tracking\nstatements (e.g. purchase order, bill of lading, invoice, packing slip, etc.)\nin accordance with the Department Operations Manual (DOM). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.\n&nbsp;Coordinate the delivery of\nmaterials\/stock to ensure appropriate transportation and timely delivery using\nvarious resources (e.g. Department of General Services Transportation\nManagement, self-knowledge, interpersonal skills, referrals, etc.) as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.\n&nbsp;Maintain inventory records to ensure\nadequate stock levels are available utilizing BIS or other inventory tracking\nsystems on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6.\n&nbsp;Assist in receiving, unpacking, and\nchecking of incoming materials against purchase orders or bills of lading to\nensure correct delivery and condition of goods utilizing standard receiving\npractices as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.\n&nbsp;Coordinate movement of materials\/stock\nfor storage, retrieval, and inventory purposes utilizing BIS, inventory\ntracking system, etc., as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8.\n&nbsp;Direct warehouse staff in the\nmaintenance of floors and storage areas to ensure a safe and orderly\nenvironment utilizing a variety of cleaning equipment (e.g. brooms, sweeping\ncompound, etc.) as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9.\n&nbsp;Load and\/or unload trucks or other\ncommon carriers to fill delivery requests using material handling equipment\n(e.g. forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, etc.) in accordance with the bill of\nlading. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10.\n&nbsp;Act in the absence of the Property\nController and\/or Staff Services Manager I to provide supervision to staff and\ncontinue customer services utilizing leadership skills and knowledge of\noperational procedures as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11.\n&nbsp;Communicate with staff and customers to\nobtain and\/or provide information regarding stock items utilizing interpersonal\nskills, personal knowledge, and other resources on a daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12.\n&nbsp;Act as a lead person to staff by\nproviding training, instruction, and\/or guidance in the performance of supply\nroom\/warehouse functions using interpersonal skills, personal knowledge, and\nother resources as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>13.\n&nbsp;Handle sensitive materials (e.g. tear\ngas, ammunition, test materials, etc.) for storage and retrieval to ensure a\nsafe, secure, and hazard free environment utilizing various guidelines,\npolicies, and procedures in accordance with Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>14.\n&nbsp;Operate motorized vehicles to\ndeliver\/pick-up materials\/stock adhering to various safety and vehicle\nguidelines, laws, rules, regulations, etc., as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>15.\n&nbsp;Enter or adjust database system codes\nfor inventory\/billing purposes utilizing State Administrative Manual (SAM) and\ndepartmental policies\/procedures as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>16.\n&nbsp;Research and resolve customer inquiries\nand\/or disputes in inventory or billing to provide accurate\ninformation\/inventory utilizing SAM and departmental policies\/procedures as\nneeded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>17.\n&nbsp;Input data to provide agency inventories\nand billing utilizing SAM and departmental policies\/procedures as required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>18.\n&nbsp;Assist customers in performing\ninventories to reconcile stock on hand with inventory reports utilizing SAM,\ndepartmental policies\/procedures, and a variety of warehouse equipment (e.g.\npallet jack, fork lift, hand dolly, etc.) as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>19.\n&nbsp;Promote quality customer service to\nensure customer satisfaction utilizing personal knowledge,
