(SPB), and online systems under the general\ndirection of supervisory\/management staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.\n&nbsp;Edit written material (e.g., exam\nnotices, candidate pools, exam schedules, etc.) for customers to facilitate the\nselection and certification processes utilizing reference material, SPB, and\nonline systems under the general direction of supervisory\/management staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.\n&nbsp;Develop accurate written communication\n(e.g., contact letters, emails, exam notices, etc.) for customers to convey\nselection and certification information\/processes utilizing proper writing\nstandards under the general direction of supervisory\/management staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.\n&nbsp;Analyze selection and certification data\n(written and statistical) for customers to ensure accuracy of: competitors,\neligibles, scores, lists, candidate pools, etc. utilizing reference material,\nSPB, and online systems under the general direction of supervisory\/management\nstaff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.\n&nbsp;Follow oral and written instructions in\norder to perform selection and certification processes for customers utilizing\nreference material, SPB, and online systems as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6.\n&nbsp;Present clear and concise verbal\ncommunications to customers in order to convey selection and certification\ninformation\/processes utilizing proper communication principles as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.\n&nbsp;Develop clear and concise written\nreports for customers in order to convey selection and certification\ninformation\/processes utilizing proper writing standards under the general\ndirection of supervisory\/management staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8.\n&nbsp;<strong>Perform\nthe automated selection functions associated with an examination to maintain\ncandidate and examination records (i.e., update, change, add and delete)\nutilizing reference material, SPB, and online systems as needed.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9.\n&nbsp;<strong>Identify\nand research automated selection and\/or certification online system problems to\nresolve discrepancies, correct and report system errors, and learn new methods\nutilizing personal knowledge and experience, reference material, and SPB under\nthe general direction of supervisory\/management staff.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10.\n&nbsp;Review and interpret examination\napplications for approved and unapproved experience combining qualifying\nexperience and\/or education patterns to determine if minimum qualifications are\nmet in accordance with SPB laws and rules, policies and procedures and established\nguidelines governing the selection process, utilizing reference material (e.g.,\nselection manual, 511B, class specification, examination bulletin, etc.) and\ninternal staff under the general direction of supervisory\/management staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11.\n&nbsp;Respond to candidates both verbally and\nin writing who have received an examination acceptance\/rejection notice to\nconvey selection information\/processes utilizing proper writing standards,\nreference material (e.g., selection manual, 511B, class specification, examination\nbulletin, etc.) and internal staff as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12.\n&nbsp;Code accepted\/rejected examination\napplications for preparation to enter into SPB\u2019s automated system in accordance\nwith SPB laws and rules, policies and procedures and established guidelines\ngoverning the selection process, utilizing personal knowledge and experience,\nreference material (flag codes), and SPB as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>13.\n&nbsp;<strong>Obtain\nand secure testing sites to administer the selection process utilizing personal\nknowledge and experience, reference material, and recommendations from internal\nstaff under the general direction of supervisory\/management staff.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>14.\n&nbsp;<strong>Recommend\nexamination testing locations based on candidate information to create the most\nconvenient and cost effective logistics for examination administration\nutilizing personal knowledge and experience, reference material, and\nrecommendations from internal staff as needed.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>15.\n&nbsp;Schedule candidates for examinations to\nadminister the selection component utilizing candidate county codes, facility\ncodes, personal knowledge and experience, reference material, and\nrecommendations from internal staff as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>16.\n&nbsp;Prepare required examination materials\nfor candidates, proctors, and\/or panel members to administer the selection\ncomponent utilizing reference material, office equipment\/supplies, and shipping\nmethods as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>17.\n&nbsp;Prepare selection history files and\/or\ncertification archive documents in order to maintain prior selection\nadministration information and\/or certification processes by utilizing office\npolicies and procedures and record retention schedules, as required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>18.\n&nbsp;Interpret civil service merit laws, SPB\nrules and policies, and departmental policies and procedures for customers to\nensure compliance utilizing reference material and SPB under the general\ndirection of supervisory\/management staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>19.\n&nbsp;<strong>Order\ncertification lists and contact letters at the request of customers to develop\nviable candidate pools by utilizing the SPB automated system, reference\nmaterial, program liaisons and office policies and procedures as requested.<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>20.\n&nbsp;Provide consultation to program\nliaisons, supervisory, management and\/or institutional personnel staff to\nconvey selection and\/or certification information\/processes utilizing written\nand verbal skills, reference material and internal staff under the general\ndirection of supervisory\/management staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>21.\n&nbsp;<strong>Perform\nautomated certification functions to maintain eligible records (i.e., update,\nchange, activate and\/or deactivate) and list maintenance utilizing reference\nmaterial, SPB, and online systems as needed.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>22.\n&nbsp;<strong>Develop\nviable candidate pools for hiring programs in established\nguidelines governing the selection process.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>23.\n&nbsp;<strong>Review\nand input all incoming Request for Position Action\/Appointment\u2019s (RPA\u2019s) into\nthe Human Resources Tracking System (HRTS) in order to monitor hiring document\napproval process utilizing office equipment, reference material and automated\nsystems as required.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>24.\n&nbsp;Respond to eligibles both verbally and\nin writing who have requested eligibility and\/or status changes on\ncertification lists (e.g., address changes, eligibility status, location\npreferences, etc.) utilizing writing and verbal skills, reference material, and\ninternal staff under the general direction of supervisory\/management staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>25.\n&nbsp;<strong>Facilitate\ntransfer of eligibility list requests from customers in order to assist in\nmanaging list eligibility utilizing reference material in accordance with SPB\nrules and regulations as requested.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>26.\n&nbsp;<strong>Facilitate\nappropriate list requests from customers in order to provide hiring options\nutilizing reference material and SPB staff in accordance with SPB rules and\nregulations as requested. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>27.\n&nbsp;<strong>Communicate\nin a professional and effective manner with others to establish cooperative\nworking relationships maintaining confidentiality in all situations utilizing\ntact and interpersonal skills on a daily basis. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>28.\n&nbsp;Act as proctor and\/or chairperson to\nadminister examinations in accordance with SPB laws and rules and established\nguidelines governing the selection process utilizing documents (e.g., bulletins, written tests, Education and Experience,\netc.) utilizing office equipment, reference material, and verbal and written\ncommunication skills under general guidance of assigned analyst. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>34.\n&nbsp;Foster cooperative working relationships\nwith internal (Selection Analysts, peers, and Supervisors\/Managers) and\nexternal staff (Personnel Liaisons and
