5.  Conduct subject research to produce an\naccurate portrayal of information for supervisors and staff, utilizing the\ninternet and subject matter experts and available information (e.g., books,\narticles, journals, videos, etc.), as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

14.  Perform non-linear editing,\nutilizing computer software programs (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Adobe Production\nSuite, etc.) to produce a video program for local and statewide departmental\nuse as needed. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

15.  Program and schedule\neducational, operational, and\/or recreational video programs, utilizing\nsoftware and hardware (e.g., Leightronix Nexus LGX, Total Import, etc.) to be\nbroadcast on a specific channel, date and time for the viewing population as\nneeded. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

16.  Select, scan, and\/or print\nphotographs for training and historical documentation (e.g., graduations,\nspeeches, visitation, etc.), utilizing computer software and hardware (e.g.,\nColor Printers, Photoshop, etc.) for video productions and presentations under\nthe direction of the supervisor, as needed. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

17.  Develop and edit computer\ngenerated texts to communicate information (e.g., TV guide, lunch menu,\nadministrative memos, etc.) for the viewing population to keep them informed of\ncurrent events and programs, utilizing computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office\nSuite, Avalon, Leightronix LGX, etc.) on a daily basis. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

18.  Maintain audio equipment\n(e.g., microphones, cables, amplifiers, speakers, etc.) to ensure proper\nfunction in the Television Communication Center, utilizing basic tools, as\nneeded. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

19.  Maintain video equipment such\nas VCR, DVD player, video monitors, etc. to ensure proper function in the\nTelevision Communication Center, utilizing basic tools, as needed. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

20.  Maintain hardware and software\nfor computer programs in the Television Communication Center to ensure software\nprograms are updated and compatible with hardware (e.g., flash drive, disk\ndrive, keyboards, monitors, mouse, etc.), utilizing software updates and proper\ninstallations, as needed. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

21.  Maintain inventory of all\nequipment (e.g. cameras, DVD players, modulators, amplifiers, etc.), in the\nTelevision Communication Center for the Property Controller and management,\nutilizing an appropriate inventory sheet to ensure accountability, security and\nsafety of the work area on a monthly\/quarterly basis. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

22.  Maintain computer inventory\n(e.g., monitors, keyboards, mouse, etc.) in the Television Communication Center\nfor the Associate Information Systems Analyst (AISA) utilizing the appropriate\ninventory sheet for security and safety of the work area on a daily basis. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

23.  Maintain tool inventory (e.g.,\nscrewdrivers, pliers, drills, etc.) in the Television Communication Center for\nthe administrator, utilizing the appropriate inventory sheet for security and\nsafety of the work area on a daily basis. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

24.  Maintain the distribution of\ntelevision signals, utilizing broadcast test equipment within the Television\nCommunication Center to ensure a good quality signal into the infrastructure\nfor the viewers and the Education Program, as needed. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

25.  Copy appropriately licensed\nand approved audio-video materials for backup or distribution for educational\nand departmental use, utilizing computer software and hardware, as needed. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

26.  Purchase equipment, software,\nand supplies for use in the Television Communication Center by utilizing\nestablished procurement processes (e.g., prioritizing, bidding, justification,\netc.), as needed. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

27.  Maintain the worksite to\nensure a safe and secure facility, in accordance with departmental rules and\nregulations, and other related policies and procedures, as required. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

28.  Maintain industry standards\nand training requirements to stay current with changes in technology and\nequipment directly related to job performance by attending conferences, related\ntrainings, and reading technical publications, under the direction of the\nsupervisor, as needed. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
