Task Statements:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1. <\/strong>Inspect vehicles, mobile equipment, and supplies, in order to make recommendations for repairs and\/or maintenance and construction equipment.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. <\/strong>Provide oversight to the disposal of vehicles and\/or equipment.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. <\/strong>Oversight of new equipment acquisitions for mobile equipment operations, as needed.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. <\/strong>Provide oversight mobile equipment training programs for operation of specialized equipment, per department procedures.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. <\/strong>Review and oversight (budgeting, rental rates, cost accounting) pending the impact on equipment operations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Provide analysis of current fleet versus future fleet needs, and report to program management. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Write reports dealing with mobile equipment operations per departmental needs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Ensure that the program is maintaining compliance with all state and federal mandates\/programs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Inspection of shops\/facilities to ensure organization and safety for all employees and incarcerated persons.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Basic understanding of Microsoft Office tools (word, excel, access, outlook, and power-point, etc…)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

11. Prioritization and managing workload of staff that are engaged in the repairing and maintaining of vehicles and equipment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

12. Establish and maintain the operational manuals and maintenance records for all equipment involved with mobile equipment operations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

13. Establish repair and maintenance schedules to align with program, state and federal guidelines.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

14. Investigate and review accidents involving program vehicles and\/or equipment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

15. Evaluate new\/safety features of mobile equipment to ensure inclusion in future specifications, if applicable.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

19. Understanding the implementation of zero emissions vehicles, based on departmental needs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

20. Utilize the Systems Analysis Program (SAP) asset shell and property control system.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

21. Understanding of Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) licensing\/classifications, and endorsements.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

22. Read\/prepare service contracts for the Office of Business Services (OBS).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
