The Council of Criminal Justice and Behavioral Health (CCJBH) is hosting community engagement events throughout the state. The goal of these events is to gather input related to personal experiences, current needs, and best practices of programs and policies that work in the intersection of criminal justice and behavioral health. Below are registration links for the various events and a printable flyer.
The Legislature provided CCJBH with on-going funding to award stakeholder contracts. The purpose of the funds are for reducing justice-involvement for individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges. CCJBH will engage diverse stakeholders seeking input from those with lived experience to obtain first-hand perspectives on how the funding could best serve its intended purposes. The cumulative results of the stakeholder engagement process will be documented in a report which will provide the direction for current and future funding opportunities.
