On March 2, 2022, the U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Intergovernmental and External Affairs (IEA) hosted a stakeholder briefing outlining the President’s unity agenda and his priority to address the mental health crisis in America with his Strategy to Address Our Mental Health Crisis. The strategy is a comprehensive plan to build system capacity, connect more people to care, and provide support to Americans, especially kids, by fostering healthy environments in real world and online.
HHS kicked off the National Tour to Strengthen Mental Health in an effort to hear directly from Americans across the country about the behavioral health challenges they’re facing and engage with local elected officials and leaders to strengthen the mental health and crisis care system in our communities.
