The Office of Youth and Community Restoration has issued a Request for Proposal to solicit proposals for a contractor to provide consulting services relating to restorative, outcomes-focused youth facility design. The consultant will be tasked with identifying best practices for therapeutic youth facilities with an emphasis of youth who are subject to terms of confinement longer than one year. The consultant will also review and evaluate county facility plans and grant applications to ensure a health-based, youth development-oriented approach is implemented into the counties’ facility designs.
Interested proposers should submit an intent to bid via email to Miguel.Jauregui@chhs.ca.gov by June 15, 2022, at 12:00 PM. The final date for proposal submission is June 30, 2022, at 12:00 PM.
