CAL ICH is Hiring

The California Interagency Council on Homelessness (Cal ICH) was created by SB 1380 in 2017 as the Homeless Coordinating and Financing Council to oversee the implementation of Housing First policies, guidelines, and regulations to reduce the prevalence and duration of homelessness in California. Cal ICH currently has two Staff Services Manger I (Specialist) roles open. These positions are focused on policy/Council work as well as on our local initiatives across the state. They are as follows:

 •    SSM I (Specialist) – Statewide Action Plan Specialist: JC-313391 (Application due 8/1/22)
The Director of Statewide Policy, Cody Zeger, is recruiting for a self-motivated Staff Services Manager I (Specialist) to support the implementation of the Action Plan for Preventing and Ending Homelessness in California. This position will work with Cal ICH’s State partners to coordinate policies and practices related to homelessness, launch and facilitate interagency working groups, and analyze data to measure progress of the State’s efforts. 

•    SSM I (Specialist) – Local Initiatives Specialist: JC-313052 (Application due 7/15/22)
The Director of Local Initiatives, Courtney Tacker, is recruiting for a Staff Services Manager I (Specialist) to be responsible for providing statewide guidance and recommendations supporting coordination across state systems and obtaining data to measure progress of the State’s efforts to address the needs of individuals experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.
