The Health Management Associates (HMA), with funding from DHCS, has released applications for the MAT in Jails and Drug Courts Learning Collaborative. The county justice ecosystem-focused TA approach coordinates and builds capacity and competencies in county agencies: jails, drug courts, probation, juvenile probation, child welfare, dependency courts, and behavioral health agencies. In this new iteration of the Learning Collaborative, counties can apply for a grant for Jail MAT or Drug Court MAT implementation. MAT implementation grants will be available to accepted counties in an amount ranging from $60,000 to $80,000. Visit the HMA website for the application and additional information on the Jail MAT, Drug Court, and Child Welfare/Juvenile Justice programs. The deadline for applications has been extended to January 15, 2022.
Additionally, one more informational webinar will be held on Monday, January 9th at 1:00 pm PST.
