New Brief: CDPH Office of Suicide Prevention Year 1 Highlights Brief

The CDPH Injury and Violence Prevention Branch’s Office of Suicide Prevention, established by AB 2112, has shared a new brief, “Office of Suicide Prevention Year 1 Highlights Brief,” which summarizes major activities and successes that took place within the first year of the office being established (July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022). More specifically, the brief highlights activities such as partnership building, technical assistance, data dissemination/reports, gun/medication lock box distribution, Zero Suicide informational webinars, Mental Health Thrival Kits distribution, and CDPH Suicide Prevention Program webpage updates.
