This survey asks for your feedback on the minimum qualifications and core competencies for the Forensic/Justice Involved peer support specialization, as well as barriers to employment for peers with a history of involvement in the criminal legal system. Access California will share feedback from this survey with the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), the California Behavioral Health Planning Council (CBHPC), the California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA), the Council on Criminal Justice and Behavioral Health (CCJBH), and other relevant state and local entities to inform the development and implementation of this specialization.
