{"id":133,"date":"2022-12-20T15:13:55","date_gmt":"2022-12-20T15:13:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/community-partners\/?page_id=133"},"modified":"2022-12-20T17:55:36","modified_gmt":"2022-12-20T17:55:36","slug":"dress-code","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/community-partners\/volunteer-and-program-providers\/dress-code\/","title":{"rendered":"Dress Code"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Volunteers and Program Providers must remind their selves that there are restrictions regarding the dress code while in the institutions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three rules to remember in regarding the restrictions when entering into the institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Restricted Dress Code While at the Institution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Do not wear clothing that is similar to clothing worn by inmates. Wearing these specific articles of clothing will cause confusion at the institutions. These items include the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Blue denim pants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blue chambray shirts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Orange jumpsuits or orange tops with orange bottoms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Yellow raincoats<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dresses that resemble prison muumuu<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not wear clothing that resembles custodial staff uniforms. Wearing these specific articles of clothing will cause confusion at the institutions. These items include the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Forest green pants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tan Shirts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Camouflage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please dress conservatively and modestly when entering CDCR institutions and refrain from wearing the following items:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No tank tops, tube tops, spaghetti straps, strapless or off the shoulder clothing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No open-toed shoes or shoes without backs or a heel strap<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>While these are dress code regulations for all CDCR institutions there may be additional dress code restrictions that may apply at each institution.
