{"id":10368,"date":"2020-03-31T16:07:05","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T23:07:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cdcr.test\/dom\/chapter-5-adult-custody-and-security-operations\/article-39-iw-tip\/53130-10-2-ad-seg-placement-timekeeping-process\/"},"modified":"2020-03-31T16:07:05","modified_gmt":"2020-03-31T23:07:05","slug":"53130-10-2-ad-seg-placement-timekeeping-process","status":"publish","type":"dom","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/dom\/chapter-5-adult-custody-and-security-operations\/article-39-iw-tip\/53130-10-2-ad-seg-placement-timekeeping-process\/","title":{"rendered":"53130.10.2 AD&#8209;SEG Placement\/Timekeeping Process"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The term &#8220;AD-SEG&#8221; shall be used on the DMS to identify inmates placed on lockup status.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Work\/training supervisors shall review the DMS daily to determine if any of their assigned inmates have been placed on lockup status. If so, the following processes shall occur:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The work supervisor shall draw a diagonal line through the appropriate date on the inmate timekeeping log writing &#8220;AD-SEG&#8221; on the line. The timekeeping log shall be signed by the work\/training supervisor and by his or her immediate supervisor. In the event that the inmate is released from lockup and returned to the assignment, the work\/training supervisor shall begin a new timekeeping log.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>A classification committee shall evaluate the reasons for placement in AD-SEG to ensure that an appropriate work group is awarded. If the placement was due to a disciplinary action which resulted in a finding of not guilty or pending an investigation which resulted in the inmate&#8217;s release, the classification committee shall prepare a CDC 128-G stating the facts of the case and shall return the inmate to the same work group he or she was in prior to AD-SEG placement.
