{"id":10620,"date":"2020-03-31T16:07:16","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T23:07:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cdcr.test\/dom\/chapter-5-adult-custody-and-security-operations\/article-44-prison-rape-elimination-policy\/54040-7-4-notification-from-to-other-confinement-facilities\/"},"modified":"2021-12-09T22:40:58","modified_gmt":"2021-12-09T22:40:58","slug":"54040-7-4-notification-from-to-other-confinement-facilities","status":"publish","type":"dom","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/dom\/chapter-5-adult-custody-and-security-operations\/article-44-prison-rape-elimination-policy\/54040-7-4-notification-from-to-other-confinement-facilities\/","title":{"rendered":"54040.7.4 Notification from\/to Other Confinement Facilities"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Upon receiving an allegation that an offender was the victim of sexual violence or staff sexual misconduct while confined at another institution\/confinement facility, the hiring authority where the allegation was received shall notify the hiring authority of the institution or appropriate office of the agency where the alleged sexual violence or staff sexual misconduct occurred.\u00a0 This initial notification shall be made via telephone contact or electronic mail and will be followed up with a written summary of the alleged victim\u2019s statements.\u00a0 Such initial notification shall be provided as soon as possible, but no later than 72 hours after receiving the allegation. The institution or facility where the alleged sexual violence or staff sexual misconduct is reported will be responsible to complete the SSV-IA form.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Hiring Authority or agency office receiving notification that an incident occurred at their institution, shall assign and ensure that the allegation is investigated and reported in accordance with DOM Section 54040.12.\u00a0 The Hiring Authority shall be responsible to conduct an Institutional PREA Review Committee.
