{"id":11449,"date":"2020-03-31T16:08:08","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T23:08:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cdcr.test\/dom\/chapter-7-adult-case-records-information\/article-2-case-records-service-unit\/71020-5-7-records-transfer-exceptions\/"},"modified":"2020-03-31T16:08:08","modified_gmt":"2020-03-31T23:08:08","slug":"71020-5-7-records-transfer-exceptions","status":"publish","type":"dom","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/dom\/chapter-7-adult-case-records-information\/article-2-case-records-service-unit\/71020-5-7-records-transfer-exceptions\/","title":{"rendered":"71020.5.7 Records Transfer Exceptions"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Discharge cases that need to be retained in hard copy one year and then processed as in DOM 71020.5.6, include:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Out-to-court discharges.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Prisoners from other agencies.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Prisoners from the federal prison system or a federal agency.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>DMH patients received pursuant to W&I 7301.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Prisoners from other states received pursuant to PC 2902 or11190.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Safekeeping cases pursuant to PC 4007.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Hard-copy files of \u201cN\u201d number residents not amenable for treatment shall be retained at the facility\/region for six months after discharge and then processed as above.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Hard-copy files of discharged diagnostic study \u201cZ\u201d cases shall be retained in reception centers six months and then forwarded to the Archives Unit where they shall be retained an additional two and onehalf years.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Hard-copy files of discharged public interest cases shall be transferred to the Archives Unit and retained for 30 years prior to referral to the State Archives.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\t","protected":false},"parent":11430,"template":"","class_list":["post-11449","dom","type-dom","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.8 -
