{"id":11656,"date":"2020-03-31T16:08:18","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T23:08:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cdcr.test\/dom\/chapter-7-adult-case-records-information\/article-9-wanted-persons-system\/72070-6-1-placement-in-wanted-persons-system\/"},"modified":"2020-03-31T16:08:18","modified_gmt":"2020-03-31T23:08:18","slug":"72070-6-1-placement-in-wanted-persons-system","status":"publish","type":"dom","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/dom\/chapter-7-adult-case-records-information\/article-9-wanted-persons-system\/72070-6-1-placement-in-wanted-persons-system\/","title":{"rendered":"72070.6.1 Placement in Wanted Persons System"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>When it has been determined that the parolee is at-large, the Parole Agent shall prepare a CDC Form 600 and submit it to the regional records staff with a CDC Form 1524, Parolee At Large Report (PAL Report).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The CDC Form 600 shall be reviewed for completeness by an office technician or higher and sent to the BPT Central Office Calendar with the PAL Report, or returned to the Parole Agent for completion. The following information shall be included on the CDC Form 600:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Known aliases (AKA).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Social Security Numbers (SSI) and additional date(s) of birth (ADB) which are recorded on the CI&amp;I SSCH report.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Scars, marks, and tattoos &#8211; indicate location and description.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Caution codes shall be included in the caution field. If multiple caution codes are required, enter the most serious caution in the caution field and type out the second caution, in English, as the first item in the miscellaneous field. The &#8220;X&#8221; caution code shall be entered in the miscellaneous field with an explanation. Use prior history to determine caution. The following caution codes shall be used:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>A = Armed and dangerous <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>E = Escape risk <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>M = Mentally disturbed <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>S = Suicidal <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>X = Miscellaneous<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Miscellaneous field shall contain the commitment offense, not the felony code numbers.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The agent&#8217;s name and telephone number shall be used by ID\/Warrants Unit staff, but not entered into CLETS. This information shall be provided to the arresting agency upon apprehension.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The reference field shall be used to indicate the region and unit office.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The facility\/region case records office shall maintain a log of the CDC Form 600 entry and cancel requests.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>ID\/Warrants Unit<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>When a CDC Form 600 is received from the BPT, the ID\/Warrants Unit shall:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Date stamp the CDC Form 600.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Compare the name and date of birth and contact region case records staff concerning any major discrepancies.
