{"id":11987,"date":"2020-03-31T16:08:30","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T23:08:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cdcr.test\/dom\/chapter-7-adult-case-records-information\/article-19-pre-release-referrals\/74060-7-reentry-referral-of-direct-discharge-cases\/"},"modified":"2020-03-31T16:08:30","modified_gmt":"2020-03-31T23:08:30","slug":"74060-7-reentry-referral-of-direct-discharge-cases","status":"publish","type":"dom","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/dom\/chapter-7-adult-case-records-information\/article-19-pre-release-referrals\/74060-7-reentry-referral-of-direct-discharge-cases\/","title":{"rendered":"74060.7 Reentry Referral of Direct Discharge Cases"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>To ensure that direct discharge cases are referred to the P&amp;CSD for reentry screening, facilities shall:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Identify inmates under PC 1170 commitments where the period of parole has been waived by the BPT.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Complete Section A of the RPS on these cases and refer them to the parole region.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Inmates with direct discharge dates may request reentry consideration. Direct discharge cases shall be referred to P&amp;CSD in the same manner as pre-parole referrals.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>As a means of distinguishing direct discharge cases from pre-parole referrals, institution staff shall ensure that the parole date block of Section A of the RPS includes the word &#8220;DISCHARGE&#8221; in capital letters after the release date. Additionally, the C&amp;PR comment section shall include the notation &#8220;Direct Discharge.&#8221; Attachments to the RPS shall be the same as pre-parole referrals.
