{"id":13424,"date":"2020-04-01T08:34:50","date_gmt":"2020-04-01T15:34:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cdcr.test\/dom\/chapter-10-adult-programs\/article-11-gifts-and-donations\/101110-1-policy\/"},"modified":"2020-04-01T08:34:50","modified_gmt":"2020-04-01T15:34:50","slug":"101110-1-policy","status":"publish","type":"dom","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/dom\/chapter-10-adult-programs\/article-11-gifts-and-donations\/101110-1-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"101110.1 Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) shall accept gifts or donations if it is in the best interest of the CDCR and is consistent with current statutes, laws, regulations, etc. Only those gifts or donations that supplement the CDCR budgets or provide cost avoidance to the taxpayer without incurring any future expenditure related to the gift or donation shall be accepted.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Property acquired through gifts or donations shall become property of the State. Gifts and donations should be used exclusively for the purpose for which they were originally donated.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>No officer or employee of the CDCR may, for private gain, accept or receive money or other compensation from anyone other than the State for the performance of his or her State duties.
