Peer support services may occur on or off-duty. PST members do not maintain paid on-call status, therefore; PST members are not eligible for on-call or call-back compensation when providing PST services. Overtime is only authorized upon approval from their Hiring Authority.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>PST members shall:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Sign and adhere to the Peer Support confidentiality participation agreement and adhere to all policy and procedures.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Provide confidential peer support services to the affected employee(s) at the request of either the individual employee, the referral by the employee\u2019s supervisor, the Hiring Authority, or the PST Leaders.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Attend and successfully complete training as required in DOM section 31040.4.12.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>In accordance with DOM section 31040.4, and without negating their assigned classification, make themselves available to provide peer support services when approached by employees for peer support.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Attend meetings as requested by the PST Administrator, PST Leader, or Statewide PSP Coordinator.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Assist in the facilitation of training requested by the PST Administrator or PST Leaders.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Adhere to the OEW PSP Manual.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Be willing to manage time effectively for minimal impact on primary classification duties.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Maintain satisfactory performance evaluations.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Notify the PST Leaders of potential conflict of interest\/ or roles when providing peer support to individuals who they work with, directly or indirectly supervise, or have a personal relationship with.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Record incidents into the PSP SharePoint site as soon as feasible but not to exceed three calendar days after the call out occurred.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\t<\/ul>\n\t\n\t<\/li>\n\t\n\t<\/ul>\n\t\n\t<\/li>\n\t\n\t<\/ul>\n\t","protected":false},"parent":28432,"template":"","class_list":["post-28521","dom","type-dom","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
