{"id":29189,"date":"2021-12-16T15:00:46","date_gmt":"2021-12-16T15:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/?post_type=dom&#038;p=29189"},"modified":"2021-12-16T20:42:10","modified_gmt":"2021-12-16T20:42:10","slug":"32020-7-1-testing","status":"publish","type":"dom","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/dom\/chapter-3-personnel-training-and-employee-relations\/article-19-basic-academy-training\/32020-7-1-testing\/","title":{"rendered":"32020.7.1 Reinstatement and Returning Parole Agent Training"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Employees returning to the parole agent classification series from re-employment status, workers\u2019 compensation status, extended sick leave, reinstatement from retirement status, or other extended absence from performing the duties of the parole agent classification series will be required to attend the following training:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Any employee who has not performed the duties of the parole agent classification for less than 12 months will require refresher training as determined by the Regional Parole Administrator.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Any employee who has not performed the duties of the parole agent classification between 12 and less than 36 months will require completion of a full BPAA, a modified BPAA, or refresher training as determined by the DAPO Director.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Any employee who has not performed the duties of the parole agent classification for 36 months or longer requires completion of a full BPAA and passage of an examination in accordance with PC sections 832 and 22820.\u00a0 If an employee fails to successfully complete all components of the BPAA, the employee will be non-punitively dismissed for failing to meet the minimum qualifications of the parole agent classification.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\t<\/ul>\n\t\n\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Upon return to the parole agent classification series any current probation, apprenticeship or Field Training Program requirements must be met.\u00a0 Compliance with these guidelines will ensure staff is properly trained in new procedures and protocols.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\t<\/ul>\n\t","protected":false},"parent":8606,"template":"","class_list":["post-29189","dom","type-dom","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.8 -
