{"id":30601,"date":"2022-08-02T19:39:07","date_gmt":"2022-08-02T19:39:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/?post_type=dom&#038;p=30601"},"modified":"2024-10-15T21:37:48","modified_gmt":"2024-10-15T21:37:48","slug":"33060-11-telework-and-remote-access-security-standard","status":"publish","type":"dom","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/dom\/chapter-3-personnel-training-and-employee-relations\/article-25-telework-program\/33060-11-telework-and-remote-access-security-standard\/","title":{"rendered":"33060.11 Telework and Remote Access Security Standard"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The HA, or designee, shall ensure the Telework Program is implemented in accordance with all applicable laws, policies, and standards for governing the protection of state information assets including, but not limited to:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Information Security and Privacy.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Statewide information security and policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines are issued by the CISO and are found in the State Administrative Manual, sections 5300 through 5399.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Statewide and federal privacy laws, resources, and guidelines including The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act are found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oag.ca.gov\/privacy\">Office of Attorney General\u00a0website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Corresponding standards, procedures, and guidelines are found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/cdt.ca.gov\/policy\/\">California Department of Technology (CDT) website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\t<\/ul>\n\t\n\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Information Management.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>SIMM, section 5360-A provides details on the state\u2019s Telework and Remote Access Security Standard.
