{"id":30615,"date":"2022-08-02T22:14:18","date_gmt":"2022-08-02T22:14:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/?post_type=dom&#038;p=30615"},"modified":"2024-04-30T20:54:24","modified_gmt":"2024-04-30T20:54:24","slug":"33060-17-1-equipment-malfunction-connectivity-or-software-issues","status":"publish","type":"dom","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/dom\/chapter-3-personnel-training-and-employee-relations\/article-25-telework-program\/33060-17-1-equipment-malfunction-connectivity-or-software-issues\/","title":{"rendered":"33060.17.1 Equipment Malfunction, Connectivity or Software Issues"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>In the event of equipment, connectivity, or software malfunctions, telework employees shall notify the manager or supervisor immediately to discuss alternative work assignments (Refer to 33060.12).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Managers or supervisors shall determine if equipment, connectivity, or software downtime warrants having telework employees report to their office based on root cause of issue, estimated time to repair, travel time and distance to the office (Refer\u00a0to\u00a033060.13).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Telework employees are responsible for returning malfunctioning or damaged state\u2011issued equipment and assets to their office for repair (Refer to 33060.12).
