{"id":7307,"date":"2020-03-31T09:23:14","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T16:23:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cdcr.test\/dom\/chapter-1-general-administration\/article-15-information-practices\/13030-26-3-copies-of-records\/"},"modified":"2020-03-31T09:23:14","modified_gmt":"2020-03-31T16:23:14","slug":"13030-26-3-copies-of-records","status":"publish","type":"dom","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/dom\/chapter-1-general-administration\/article-15-information-practices\/13030-26-3-copies-of-records\/","title":{"rendered":"13030.26.3 Copies of Records"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>When copies of arrest reports are requested by the subject of the report, they shall be referred to the agency where the report originated.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Copies of nonexempt information shall be provided to the requesting party, or their designee, when permitted by this section. All requests for copies of any record shall be in writing, and it shall clearly identify the document or material to be copied.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Requests for photocopies of documents shall be referred to the person who reviewed the request prior to disclosure for exempt information (For additional information on copying services, see DOM 13030.16.1, and 13040.20).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Upon a showing of a reasonable need to have a copy of a document, and upon payment of ten (10) cents per copied page, the requested copies shall be made and transmitted to the requesting party within 15 days of receiving the request.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>There may be instances where a request to review a record is based upon the requester&#8217;s need to obtain a copy of one, or even several, specific documents contained in a file. In those cases it may best serve the needs of CDCR to provide those copies (if the information is disclosable) rather than have an employee supervise a full inspection of the record by the requesting party.
