To be eligible for this allowance, the employee must be required to report to work at least two hours prior to or be required to remain at least two hours past the regularly scheduled work day.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>If the officer or employee is required to work for more extended periods of time, they may be reimbursed for actual meal expenses not to exceed the maximums prescribed by DPA for each additional six-hour period. No more than three OT meal allowances may be claimed during any 24-hour period. The mealtime shall not be included in the computation of OT for the purposes of this allowance.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Agencies that operate facilities for feeding officers, employees, and official guests may instead furnish an official guest meal to an employee. Agencies shall maintain a record of all guest meals furnished for this purpose.
