{"id":8259,"date":"2020-03-31T09:24:25","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T16:24:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cdcr.test\/dom\/chapter-3-personnel-training-and-employee-relations\/article-6-appointments\/31060-5-1-civil-service-appointment-at-or-above-staff-services-manager-i-captain-and-pa-iii\/"},"modified":"2020-03-31T09:24:25","modified_gmt":"2020-03-31T16:24:25","slug":"31060-5-1-civil-service-appointment-at-or-above-staff-services-manager-i-captain-and-pa-iii","status":"publish","type":"dom","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/dom\/chapter-3-personnel-training-and-employee-relations\/article-6-appointments\/31060-5-1-civil-service-appointment-at-or-above-staff-services-manager-i-captain-and-pa-iii\/","title":{"rendered":"31060.5.1 Civil Service Appointment at or Above Staff Services Manager I, Captain, and PA&#8209;III"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Director has delegated approval authority to the Deputy Directors for civil service appointments at or above the Staff Services Manager I (SSM-I) and PA-III level.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The hiring authority&#8217;s &#8220;Approval-to-Appoint&#8221; package shall include the following:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Contents of Request<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Civil service classification of position to be filled, approved duty statement, and a current organization chart.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>A description of the recruitment efforts made to attract applicants and a statement of the efforts make to fulfill the Department&#8217;s affirmative action goals.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>A summary breakdown by ethnicity, gender, and disability of all candidates interviewed on CDC Form 973, Affirmative Action Report of Appointment. In compliance with GC 8310 and 18704, this summary shall no include names of the candidates.
