{"id":8384,"date":"2020-03-31T09:24:29","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T16:24:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cdcr.test\/dom\/chapter-3-personnel-training-and-employee-relations\/article-10-conflict-of-interest\/31110-3-responsibility\/"},"modified":"2020-03-31T09:24:29","modified_gmt":"2020-03-31T16:24:29","slug":"31110-3-responsibility","status":"publish","type":"dom","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/dom\/chapter-3-personnel-training-and-employee-relations\/article-10-conflict-of-interest\/31110-3-responsibility\/","title":{"rendered":"31110.3 Responsibility"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>All employees shall:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Adhere to and enforce this Policy.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Attempt to resolve disagreements informally.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Bring to the attention of the appropriate supervisor any conflicts which cannot be resolved informally.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>All supervisors shall ensure that:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>No smoking occurs in a State-owned, leased, or occupied building.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>No smoking is allowed within 20 feet of a main entrance or exit or operative window of a building.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>No smoking occures in any State-owned passenger vehicle. Smoking is also prohibited in all other State-owned mobile equipment including light and heavy trucks, cargo and passenger vans, buses, and any other mobile equipment with an enclosed drive\/passenger compartment.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>No smoking or tobacco possession occurs at any institution\/facility that houses or detains inmates except for residential staff housing when inmates are not present. Employees shall not use or possess tobacco products in the presence of inmates.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Staff possession or use of smoking or tobacco products, as defined in this Policy, shall be subject to the progressive disciplinary process.
