Failure or refusal to make statements or making false statements during Department Internal Affairs investigations may result in disciplinary action.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Employees shall not take any action which would interfere with, delay, distort, or unduly influence any official investigation conducted by the Department or any other government agency. Any employee who knowingly gives false evidence, withholds evidence, or interferes in any way during such an investigation, or requests or encourages another to do so, may be subject to disciplinary action.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Employees have a duty to cooperate with investigators of the Department and with officials from other law enforcement agencies who are conducting a criminal investigation. Employees shall make full, complete, and truthful statements.
