Annual training shall be the primary delivery system for peace officers to maintain compliance with PC section 832 and other mandated training or applicable contract language.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Peace officer classifications at a minimum, shall receive annual training as determined necessary by the Deputy Director, POSED through the Annual Training Schedules. Additional training or site-specific training is determined by the local hiring authority.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPO)<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>All DAPO peace officer classifications, at a minimum, shall receive annual training as determined by the Annual Training Schedules or hiring authority. Additional training or site-specific training is determined by the local hiring authority. Such training shall encompass court mandated obligations and pertinent directives as follows:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>California Public Records Act (CPRA)<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation\/First Aide (CPR\/FA)<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Chemical Agents<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Communicable Disease Prevention<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Sexual Harassment Prevention<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Emergency Operations<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Expandable Baton Annual Training<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fire and Life Safety<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Firearms Requalification<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Information Practices Act (IPA)<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Information Security Awareness (ISA)<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Tuberculosis (TB)Testing\/ Quiz<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Use of Force (UOF)<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Other subjects as deemed appropriate by the Director, hiring authority or designee, or any other legal mandates<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\t<\/ul>\n\t\n\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>All Parole Agents assigned to DAPO shall comply with weapons requalification as stated in current DAPO firearms policy. In addition, those who are armed shall fire a diminished light course annually for familiarization and training (not qualification).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>All Parole Agents assigned to DAPO shall receive training in Parole Agent Safety and Tactics (PAST), in accordance with Bargaining Unit 6, MOU.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\t<\/ul>\n\t\n\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Office of Correctional Safety (OCS)<\/strong><br>All OCS peace officer classifications at a minimum, shall receive annual training as determined by the Annual Training Schedules, or hiring authority. Additional training or site-specific training is determined by the local hiring authority.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Office of Internal Affairs (OIA)<\/strong><br>All OIA peace officer classifications, at a minimum, shall receive annual training as determined by the Annual Training Schedules or hiring authority. Additional training or site-specific training is determined by the local hiring authority.\u00a0<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Statewide Transportation Officers and Extradition Agents<\/strong><br>All Transportation Officers and Extradition Agents (excluding Institution Transportation Units only), at a minimum, shall receive annual training as determined by the Annual Training Schedule or hiring authority. Additional training or site-specific training is determined by the local hiring authority.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Management Peace Officer and Administrative Officer-of-the-Day (AOD)<\/strong><br>Management Peace Officer and AOD classifications, at a minimum, shall receive annual training as determined necessary by the Deputy Director, POSED, or hiring authority.
