{"id":8637,"date":"2020-03-31T09:24:39","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T16:24:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cdcr.test\/dom\/chapter-3-personnel-training-and-employee-relations\/article-20-personnel-policies\/33010-9-use-of-state-facilities-and-time\/"},"modified":"2020-03-31T09:24:39","modified_gmt":"2020-03-31T16:24:39","slug":"33010-9-use-of-state-facilities-and-time","status":"publish","type":"dom","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/dom\/chapter-3-personnel-training-and-employee-relations\/article-20-personnel-policies\/33010-9-use-of-state-facilities-and-time\/","title":{"rendered":"33010.9 Use of State Facilities and Time"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Uniform standards of treatment shall be applied to all employee organizations concerning the use of State facilities, equipment, and work time.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Employee organizations may be granted the use of State facilities for organization meetings composed of the State employees, provided such meetings are outside regularly scheduled working hours and space is available.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>State time shall not be used for conducting or participating in employee organization business affairs including dues collection, organization meetings, and membership campaigns.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>All services provided employees through any employee organization involving use of institution facilities, grounds, equipment, or inmates shall be approved in writing by the Warden\/Superintendent.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Employees may, during assigned working hours, use a reasonable amount of State time to prepare and present grievances and to meet with management on issues and problems.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Time spent by representatives on representation activities shall not qualify for, or result in, overtime compensation.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\t","protected":false},"parent":8621,"template":"","class_list":["post-8637","dom","type-dom","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
