{"id":8723,"date":"2020-03-31T09:24:42","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T16:24:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cdcr.test\/dom\/chapter-3-personnel-training-and-employee-relations\/article-21-uniforms-employee-grooming-standards\/33020-7-regulation-uniform-custody\/"},"modified":"2024-08-22T23:03:15","modified_gmt":"2024-08-22T23:03:15","slug":"33020-7-regulation-uniform-custody","status":"publish","type":"dom","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/dom\/chapter-3-personnel-training-and-employee-relations\/article-21-uniforms-employee-grooming-standards\/33020-7-regulation-uniform-custody\/","title":{"rendered":"33020.7 Regulation Uniform&#8209;Custody"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The following regulation custody uniforms, garments, and accessories are approved for use:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Class \u201cA\u201d blazer dress jacket.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Class \u201cA\u201d Ike jacket.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Class \u201cA\u201d executive\u2019s coat (optional Captain and above).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Class \u201cA and B\u201d long and short sleeve shirt.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Class \u201cA\u00a0 and B\u201d trouser.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Class \u201cA\u201d hat (refer to DOM Section 33020.7.2).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Class \u201cB or C\u201d cap (refer to DOM Section 33020.7.2).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Class \u201cB\u201d sweater (optional).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Class \u201cC\u201d line duty cargo pant.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Class \u201cC\u201d long and short sleeve line duty shirt.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Black leather belt.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Black clip-on or velcro fastened tie, or criss-cross tie (solid color).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>All uniformed staff shall wear a regulation tie, as referenced in section 33020.12.8, with the Class \u201cA\u201d uniform, except when wearing a short sleeve shirt. Additionally, all uniformed staff shall wear a regulation tie when wearing a long sleeve shirt with Class \u201cA\u201d trousers.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>At the employee\u2019s discretion, the regulation black tie may be worn with the Class \u201cA\u201d Uniform with a short sleeve shirt, the Class \u201cB\u201d Uniform with a long sleeve shirt and Class \u201cB\u201d trousers, or when wearing a non-class \u201cA\u201d outer jacket or sweater.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Load Bearing Suspenders: Black nylon or leather.\u00a0 Load Bearing Suspenders may be worn with the Class \u201cB or C\u201d uniform at the employee\u2019s discretion. Load Bearing Suspenders may be worn with the Class \u201cA\u201d uniform in emergency situations.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Black socks (solid color).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Undershirt shall be a crew neck, T-shirt style, solid white in color, and of a smooth finish.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Black plain-toe shoes or boots conservatively designed without buckles (solid color).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Regulation departmental badge.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Departmental nameplate (white letters on black plate).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Tie bar or tie tack (gold in color).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Whistle, gold in color, metal only.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>CDCR identification card.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Rain gear (for Class \u201cA, B or C\u201d uniforms) shall be a one or two piece raincoat or rainsuit, CDCR forest green in color, or equivalent as follows:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The one-piece raincoat is most applicable for uniform staff not assigned to long periods outdoors.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The two-piece rainsuit is most applicable for uniform staff assigned to work assignments primarily outdoors.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Foul weather jackets (refer to the 2 types below).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Class \u201cB or C\u201d waterproof.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Class \u201cB or C\u201d \u00be length waterproof.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Trooper cap (refer to DOM Section 33020.7.2).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Campaign hat (refer to DOM Section 33020.7.2).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Jumpsuit (refer to DOM Section 33020.9.3).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Departmental Transportation Unit uniform (refer to DOM Section 33020.9.4).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Crisis Response Team (CRT) uniform (refer to DOM Section 33020.9.8).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Departmental rank insignia shall be attached to regulation jumpsuits, shirts, and jackets.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\t<\/ul>\n\t\n\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Departmental rank insignia shall be attached to regulation jumpsuits, shirts, and jackets.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\t<\/ul>\n\t","protected":false},"parent":8712,"template":"","class_list":["post-8723","dom","type-dom","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
