For individual garment and accessory specifications, refer to this DOM Article and CDCR Uniform Specification Handbook, CDCR Fire Service Uniforms. Items and insignia not specifically addressed within DOM, chapter 3, article 21 and the CDCR Fire Service Uniforms section of the Uniform Specification Handbook are considered unauthorized. All on-duty CDCR Fire Staff shall wear Class \u201cB\u201d uniforms at minimum while in public and conducting business at CDCR administrative buildings including Headquarters. Civilian attire is not authorized while on duty.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Departmental Fire Department shoulder patches shall be sewn onto regulation dress shirts and all coats and jackets.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>All approved uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) garments shall be National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) compliant when applicable and marked appropriately via patches, silk screen, embroidery, etc. with departmental insignia as described in the CDCR Uniform Specification Handbook, CDCR Fire Service Uniforms, to include Turnouts, Wildland Nomex, Helmets, Class \u201cA\u201d, Class \u201cB\u201d Uniforms, T-Shirts, Long Sleeves, Sweatshirts, Hoodies, Hats, Beanies, etc.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The following regulation Fire Chief and Fire Captain uniforms, garments, and accessories are approved for use:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fire Chief Class \u201cA\u201d coat.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fire Chief and Fire Captain Class \u201cA\u201d trouser.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fire Chief and Fire Captain Class \u201cA\u201d dress shirt.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fire Chief and Fire Captain Class \u201cA\u201d hat.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fire Chief and Fire Captain Class \u201cB\u201d trouser.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fire Chief and Fire Captain Class \u201cB\u201d light weight jacket with or without lining (optional).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fire Chief and Fire Captain foul weather jacket (optional).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fire Chief nameplate (blue lettering on gold plate).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fire Services jacket and raincoat (optional).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fire Captain dress and work shirt (Class \u201cA\u201d and Class \u201cB\u201d).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fire Captain \u201cA\u201d trouser.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fire Captain Class \u201cA and B\u201d hat.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Black leather belt, (Chief gold buckle, Captain silver buckle).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Station boots black steel-toe boots without buckles (NFPA compliant).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Black socks (solid color).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Regulation badge and collar insignia.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Black clip-on or Velcro fastened tie (solid color).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\n\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fire Captain nameplate (blue lettering on silver plate).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\n\t<\/ul>\n\t\n\t<\/li>\n\t\n\t<\/ul>\n\t","protected":false},"parent":8712,"template":"","class_list":["post-8740","dom","type-dom","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
