{"id":8795,"date":"2020-03-31T09:24:44","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T16:24:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cdcr.test\/dom\/chapter-3-personnel-training-and-employee-relations\/article-22-employee-discipline\/33030-10-2-state-time\/"},"modified":"2020-03-31T09:24:44","modified_gmt":"2020-03-31T16:24:44","slug":"33030-10-2-state-time","status":"publish","type":"dom","link":"https:\/\/www.cdcr.ca.gov\/operations-manual\/dom\/chapter-3-personnel-training-and-employee-relations\/article-22-employee-discipline\/33030-10-2-state-time\/","title":{"rendered":"33030.10.2 State Time"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Use of state time is restricted and shall be approved by the affected employee&#8217;s supervisor.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Absent an emergency, employees may request and shall be allowed reasonable state time by the supervisor to contact\/secure a representative and to discuss the matter prior to any meeting\/interview regarding an adverse action.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The employee shall also be allowed reasonable state time to prepare for the interview\/meeting with the representative.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Job stewards shall be allowed reasonable time for the purpose of representing employees during working hours without loss of compensation.
