It begins when a software product is conceived and ends when the product is in production and being maintained. It also specifies the activities, products, verification procedures, and completion criteria for each phase. It is an effective engineering management tool that can be used to help ensure that a delivered product is correct and meets the user&#8217;s needs.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Department advocates use of the SDLC approach to software development, whether the platform is mini or mainframe.
