The Information Security Coordinators shall ensure that security awareness training is provided prior to the employees&#8217; self-certification of their awareness of CDCR&#8217;s information security policies, and the renewal of access privileges to CDCR information resources.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Security awareness training falls into the following two categories:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Information Security<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"cdcr-dom-group-block\">\n\t\t\t<li class=\"cdcr-dom-item-block\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>All individuals having access to CDCR information shall be made aware of the background, scope, and objectives of CDCR&#8217;s information security program and of specific CDCR information security policies and procedures that are applicable to the level and type of access granted to the individual.
